Baby Surprise
The Thursday Knit Along group is working on the Elizabeth Zimmerman's Baby Surprise pattern. "It is called the Surprise Jacket because it looks like nothing on earth when you have finished knitting it." The surprise comes when you sew the seams.

More Malabrigo Yarn Arrives
Today we received Malabrigo yarns in both worsted and lace weights.
In worsted we received Purple Mystery and China, and in lace we got Black, Emerald Blue, Pearl Ten, Marine and Alpine Pearl.

Moebius Basket / Bowl Class
On Saturday July 21st from 1:00 - 4:00 pm, TYF will be holding a Moebius Basket / Bowl Class.
There are still a few places left for this class where you will select between two projects from A Second Treasury of Magical Knitting by Cat Bordhi.

Knitivity Sock Yarns Arrive
Knitivity yarns are hand dyed in "small batches following basic color recipies with no two batches exactly the same" by Ray Whiting. Ray's small batches yield some of the most wonderful colored yarns I've ever seen.
The Southern Purls Sock Yarn are 75% Wool and 25% Nylon in 100 gram balls and 462 yards. The colors are simply alive.
You have to touch this yarn to appreciate it.

Stress Busters Association First 2007 Meeting
The Temp Yarn & Fiber’s Stress- Busters Association (SBA) support group kicked off their first meeting tonight.
What is the SBA?
The Stress Busters Association support group is a way to plan, start and finish projects for gifts for others (or yourself) early before the holidays are here.
When does SBA meet?
SBA meets every Saturday from 6:00-8:30 p.m. to give you encouragement, support, and inspiration. Come whenever you can and work on those projects. You’ll be amazed how quickly they get done.
How does it work?
It’s simple. You decide what you want to make, enter it in a project folder that only you see and then dedicate time to come into the shop and work on the project. There will also be a “Show and Tell” and a prize drawing the last Saturday of each month. Get a ticket each week that you attend SBA that month, and an extra ticket if you participate in that month’s “Show and Tell”.
Come join in the fun every Saturday!

As a fun project, the group made hand puppets for the Ronald McDonald House.

New Malabrigo Lace/Worsted & Addi Turbo Lace Needles Arrive
Another large shipment of new colors of Malabigo Worsted arrived this week. If you haven't tried Malabrigo you have a wonderful experience awaiting you.
We've also recently added the Addi Turbo Lace needles from Skacel that have been getting great reviews from our customers.

We also added the Lace Weight Malabrigo line. The 470 yard skeins of Lace Malabrigo are spun from the finest 100% baby merino wool from northern Uruguay. As with all Malabrigo yarns the colors are stunning.
