You're Invited to TYF's First Anniversary Party

On March 4, 2006, we started on a journey to fulfill a dream. On that day Tempe Yarn & Fiber (TYF) officially opened its doors.

Since then TYF has morphed itself time and time again.

But our Goals have remained the same: make our shop a place where everyone is welcome, treat all customers as friends, and price our products fairly.

On March 4, 2007 (Sunday), we would like to invite all of our friends and friends-to-be, to join us in marking our First Anniversary.

We’ll have refreshments (including two birthday cakes), demos, fun activities and prizes. We’ll also have on display some of the items which have been completed by our friends over the past year.

The Party starts at Noon and ends at 6 pm.

For those who can make it and for those who can’t – we want to thank you for helping us grow over the past year!

Vickie Howell of DIY's Knitty Gritty Fame Visits Tempe Yarn & Fiber

Normally Tempe Yarn & Fiber is closed on Mondays.

But this Monday was special. To give our customers a place to get their "yarn fix" after meeting Vickie Howell at South West Trading Company's open house for the Vickie Howell's Collection of Rock, Love and Craft yarns, we were opened for an evening Before/After Party.

This drew about 50 knitters from across the valley. Then a little after 9 pm, we had a special guest arrive at the shop.
