MYSTERY PATTERN KNIT ALONG!

Arizona Yarn (starting on July 9th) and Tempe Yarn (starting on July 10th) are hosting a 

MYSTERY PATTERN KNIT ALONG! 

Essentially we are inviting you to join us for Knit Along, where we have chosen a special pattern that we are not revealing to you until the first day of the KAL. 

We will give you hints and teasers, help you choose yarns, and then sell you the e-pattern on the first day of the KAL.  

  

Here is the teaser description written by the designer:How about a cowl with no casting on or binding off?  No knitting in the round, no sewing, no grafting, no provisional cast-on, no picking up stitches.  Promise.

Well if that has not grabbed your interest, maybe the idea that you have two choices.......knit the pattern as she has written it, (which you get to see on the start day of the KAL), or you can use her “recipe-with variations” and design your own color plan.  The pattern also includes a scarf version and a form to calculate out your plan for the scarf.

Not Convinced Yet?  Besides all of the above, there is no gauge swatch and if you follow the “recipe” you can choose any yarn you want to use.  It’s the perfect opportunity to buy that skein that you wanted but didn’t know what to do with it. 

So if you want to come "play” with us to see how many different ways we can create this “Special Cowl”,  then put it on your calendar now. 

We will be holding the Knitalong as follows:

Arizona Yarn (starting on July 9th): Wednesdays from 12:00-2:00

Tempe Yarn (starting on July10th): Thursdays from 10:30-12:30

Remember: We have an instructor at all our KALs/CALs to coach you through those parts that are new to you, or to provide a refresher on certain techniques.  If you can’t join us in person, please come in and purchase your supplies and knit/crochet along with us on Ravelry.
