More New Books (one with a Local Star)

Many of you will remember Illanna Weiner who was once a regular at Tempe Yarn & Fiber (until she moved to New York). Yes, she is hard to forget.

More Yumiko Bags Created

Jen took the Forest crochet pattern from Yumiko Alexander of DanDoh Designs to a new level.

She first hand spun all of the yarn which she used for the bag. Then over several weeks she pieced it together to get just the right pattern/combination that she saw in her mind.

Here she is holding the bag before felting.

Harry Potter Group Sock Exchange

As Harry learned the powers of secrets, so did the Harry Potter group as over the past weeks they attempted to guess who was making whom their socks. Finally on Friday night the story came to a conclusion with wonderful socks being exchanged.

Baby Einstein Coat Class by Bev Walker


Bev Walker will be teaching a class on the Baby Einstein Coat on three Fridays, November 30th, December 7th and 14th. The fee for each part of the three-part class is $20.00 (first class is required, second and third are optional).



The Baby Einstein coat is modeled by Emma.

Talent Is Alive and Well At TYF

After taking Bev Walker's felted hat class, Nancy created this lovely hat out of Ironstone's Harmony yarn (she also made her top).



Using Universal Tapestry yarn, Jane made this wonderful self striping sweater.


Tressa is shown below in a sweater she just finished out of Misti Alpaca chunky.


Using Tofutsie Sock Club yarns by Southwest Trading Company, Kauola completed two pairs of socks.
