Mountain Colors Hand Painted Yarns

Mountain Colors is a small business located in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana. They produce multi-colored, hand dyed yarns for knitters, weavers, crocheters and other fiber artists.

We have justed added the following lines of yarns for your consumption.

Homespun (85% Wool / 15% Silk) is a thick/thin yarn that looks like a beginner's handspun. The silk adds a special shine.

Merino Ribbon (80% Super Fine Merino Wool / 20% Nylon) Incredibly soft, yet light weight. Knit stitches are clear and distinct.

Mohair (78% Mohair, 13% Wool, 9% Nylon) Soft and elegant with beautiful halo.

Wool Crepe (100% Wool) Tiny, tight loops wonderful for weaving and fun used double for knitting.
Moguls (96% 4% Nylon) Lumpy, bumpy and a favorite for its texture and rich color.

You'll notices that the colorways are the same. This was done on purpose so that you can see these wonderful colors in several different yarns.
