The long awaited "Garden Path Scarf" is here. This pattern was originally designed for a Mystery Scarf Knitalong at TYF. It is divided into 12 Sections, which originally were presented as Clues to the participants in the Knitalong. The inspiration for this project came from the book The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, and the pattern will explain how the stitch pattern used in each Section was derived from a specific passage or image from the book. While the Mystery Knitalong is over, there is still more than enough fun to go around.
Another pattern created as a Mystery Blanket Knitalong is the Q&A Lap Blanket.
As we developed it, we thought this project could be used as a teaching or learning tool because it steps you through different stitch patterns. For each section of the blanket, you will be presented with a question. Your answer to that question will determine which stitch pattern you work over that area, so your blanket will be a ewe+nique reflection of you.
The next TYF designed pattern is the Tempe Yarn Market Bag (Crocheted).
This is a great bag for those quick trips to the market or yarn shop. The pattern was originally designed for the Mystery Crochetalong. It is divided into nine Sections, which originally were presented as Clues to the participants in the Crochetalong.
