The crocheting community has been asking for another Mystery Crochet Along, so here you go. Sign up will be from June 6-20, 2009 with invites to the Yahoo group going out on July 6, 2009.
For this Mystery Crochetalong, we are making a Shawl. The yarn that will be used is Heritage by Cascade, and it will take five skeins for this project. The skill/experience level for this Mystery project is Advanced Beginner to Intermediate. Participants should have some crocheting and pattern reading experience. There is a $10 participation fee to be part of this crochet-along.
Weekly Mystery Crochetalong support/social groups will be held on Tuesdays from Noon-2:00 pm and from 6:00-8:00 pm. The Show and Tell date will be posted in the Yahoo! Group Information page. Even if you don't finish your project, we encourage you to attend the Show and Tell to meet your fellow Mystery CAL members in person.
As always, Clue 1 will be available in the Yahoo! Group so participants can get started once they have joined the group online. A schedule for the remaining Clues will also be provided, and they will be spaced out so that participants can expect the average crocheter to do about one hour of crocheting per day.
