Tempe Healing Field

"We study history so that we will never be doomed to repeat it again."

A trip to Tempe Beach Park will allow you to reflect on the past and remember.

The Valley of the Sun Exchange Clubs Foundation and the City of Tempe are pleased to present the sixth annual Healing Field tribute at Tempe Beach Park (northwest corner of Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway). The field consists of nearly 3,000 American flags – one for every person who perished as a result of the terrorist attacks on our nation Sept. 11, 2001.

If you haven't attended this in the past it is a moving experience. It will be at Tempe Beach Park from September 11-13th.
