As a Vietnam war veteran, I hold the Memorial Day holiday in the highest regards. This is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service. I lost friends in the Vietnam war, as many others did, and regrettably many others have fallen in national service both before and since. We honor our fallen comrades on Memorial Day.
