We've had lots of folks who want to make the knockers but need some help. We've recruited Cora Lee to help get you started every Wednesday night from 6-8pm. If you plan on coming, please do give us a call before hand to make sure nothing has
changed in the schedule.
Our charity program for February and March will be the Chandler Regional Medical Center's Cancer Center.
We'll be doing Knitted Knockers. What are Knitted Knockers? Knitted prosthetic breasts for mastectomy patients. Sounds silly, doesn't it? Yet, when placed in a bra, these knitted breasts take the shape and feel of a real breast. They are lighter and more comfortable than silicone prosthetic breasts. The knitted fabric breathes and prevents the heat rash experienced by many women wearing the silicone ones.

With a knitted breast, the wearers can have a different one for every day of the week.
Jody Brosseit of Greenbean Buttons will be donating special buttons to attach to the Knitted Knockers.
Come in an join us on Charity Knit Night (or anytime for that matter) every Wednesday from 6 - 8 pm.
Our goal is to do 100 pairs of Knitted Knocker, but I bet we can beat that goal easily.
I enjoyed my visit to TYF in November 2009. It's nice to see the Toronto connection in the Tit Bits pattern included on this page. The designer, Beryl Tsang, is a member of the Downtown Knit Collective in Toronto Ontario (Canada).
