October 1-7 is Spinning & Weaving week, sponsored by the Handweavers Guild of America. To help you get in the spirit, TYF will hold a "Wool to Scarf" event from noon to 4pm on Saturday, October 6th.
During
this event, wool will be cardered, spun and then woven into a scarf.
If you would like to try your hand at any of the steps or simply watch
it, just show up.
Anyone
who makes a purchase at TYF on October 6th will be entered into a
drawing for the finished scarf (you do not have to be present to win).
