LanaKnits Designs - All Hemp Yarn & Patterns

We received a shipment of All Hemp 6 yarns in a range of colors.

Hemp is the ultimate seasonal yarn...cool in the summer & warn in the winter! Hemp is the longest & strongest natural fiber! The more hemp is put through the washing machine & drier the softer & softer it will become.. yet it will not shrink, stretch, fade or pill
.

We also have a range of patterns that could inspire your use of this wonderful yarn.

Crochet Belts (#417) This pattern comes with two crochet belt designs! The Downtown Buckled Belt is a chic little project for a belt that can be adjusted to wear with jeans or over a sweater or top! The Bohemian Hip Belt is sized to fit your hips perfect over a tunic or long shirt for a multitude of styles!

Shell Border T-Shirt (#321)
A versatile t-shirt style top entirely knit in the round. The shell border pattern adds a touch of femininity to this all-seasons top. Knit in "All Hemp 6" from Hemp for Knitting, it's a perfect topper for jeans and skirts. Another easy-to-knit and quick-to-finish design.

Lace Diamond Garter Sweater (#304)
You'll love this easy, elegant sweater knit side-to-side -- even the sleeves! A beautiful silhouette is created by the vertically placed garter lace diamond pattern. The loose fitting style complements the natural drape of Hemp for Knitting's "All Hemp 6", and the clever use of 2 needles on each row creates a band along the lower edge.

Shop Til You Drop Bag (#403)
An easy, knit-in-the-round hemp bag featuring "All Hemp 6" from Hemp for Knitting. This pattern has lots of stretch in all directions so you can fill it to the max. Choose from two sizes -- The Little Shopper, with a 24" circumference and 12" length or the Shop Til You Drop, measuring 32" around and 15" long.

Cool Ponchette (#409)
An easy rectangular shape magically turns into a really cool ponchette. Crafted in "All Hemp 6" from Hemp for Knitting," you can wear it over your shoulders or slung low on the hips for the new trendy fashion statement. Choose from 2 sizes -- small, measuring 15" x48" or medium, measuring 17" x 53".

Capelet (#408)
This capelet features an unusual short rowing element that actually conforms to your shape. The drape of the fibre prevents any bulging in places where you wouldn't want it, and yet your curves are gently accommodated. If you've never made short rows, this is an easy place to start. It's a quick knit-- you work with either one strand each of allhemp6 and allhemp3, or allhemp6 and hempwol-- and makes a great gift when you're not sure of someone's size.

After the success of the first TYF Mystery Knitalong, we quickly decided we'd better get to work planning another one. After a lot of work, we are ready to start our second Mystery Knitalong project, which will be a blanket. Here are the details you've all been waiting for:

Timeline:
August 1st-16th: Knitalong registrations and pre-orders for yarn and needles will be taken

Suggested Yarns:
220 Wool by Cascade Yarns
220 Superwash by Cascade Yarns
Classic Worsted by Universal Yarn
We are suggesting that only one color of yarn be used, and that it be a lighter color, rather than a darker one, so that the stitch work in the completed blanket will be more visible.

Other Materials:
